Prism is a Canadian rock band formed in Vancouver in 1976.
The original composition of the band was a collection of session musicians brought together by Bruce Allen, manager of Loverboy.
The band subsequently issued See Forever Eyes (1978), after which Bryant left, and Allen Harlow was brought in as a new guitarist.

Small had his own vision of where Prism should be headed and it didn't mesh with the rest of the band; within months of recording their 1981 album, 'Small Change', band members were leaving in droves.
The band toured constantly on the west coast between 1988 and 1993, and finally released a new album in 1993 called Jericho.

Prism's self-titled album was released in May 1977 and became the first debut album by a Canadian artist to achieve platinum status in Canada.
Prism was my first recording project, and with seven of the album's nine songs credited to me, I felt vulnerable and exposed.
There were renewed tensions within the band, and for some of the "Armageddon" sessions producer Bruce Fairbairn returned to the format used on the first Prism album, where outside musicians were brought in as needed.

Packaging is a dual digipak (side-by-side format); inside lid is a collage of concert photos and Floydian graphic designs; front is design of suited man studying sheet of artwork with background of clocks and overlain with band and CD names; rear has a psychedelic design and playlist.
A great show, the audience and the band seem to be enjoying themselves, although audience noise stays at moderate levels during the songs, except for some singing.
It is good to listen to a show in which the crowd and the band really sound like they are enjoying themselves.
