 Cicero - LoveToKnow 1911
In the pro Milone he says that either Milo must have lain in wait for Clodius or Clodius for Milo, leaving out of sight the truth, that the encounter was due to chance.
From the speech pro Cluentio (1 451 54) we gain unique information concerning the condition of society in a country town, the extraordinary exemption of equites from prosecution for judicial corruption, the administration of domestic justice in the case of slaves examined by their owner (ib.

Clark, A.C., The Reappearance of the texts of the Classics, Oxford, 1921
Roscio and pro Murena were wholly new to the Italians, and all extant manuscripts are descended from the Cluniacensis.
In the speeches pro Caelio and pro Milone it was of rare excellence.
New works were discovered such as Cicero, de re publica, pro Scauro, pro Tullio, the letters of Fronto, the Scholiasta Bobiensis, while the criticism of the Verrines was advanced by one palimpsest, and.that of Plautus revolutionized by another.

The case involved the defense of Lucius Valerius Flaccus, a Roman aristocrat, who was accused of (among other things) unlawfully confiscating Jewish funds which had been collected for the maintenance of the Temple at Jerusalem.
It is widely believed that Cicero supported homosexual brothels because he himself practiced homosexual intercourse on a regular basis, however no such indications are expressly stated throughout his works.
He addresses these issues lightly in several of his speeches (most notably Pro Tullio), as well as in at least one of his surviving works on rhetoric, De Officiis.

Ernest Metzger, 'The Current View of the Extra-Judicial Vadimonium' (2000)
The second passage, pro Tullio 20, is in a similar posture to the first passage.
There is little known, and little consensus, on deductio moribus, an extra-judicial act whereby two persons engage in a collusive expulsion from possession before undertaking judicial proceedings, perhaps a suit on ownership, or perhaps an interdictal proceeding [75].
It is disappointing, for purposes of the present discussion, that the procedure to be followed after such an expulsion are unknown; neither in the pro Tullio nor in the pro Caecina did the parties, in the event, resort to deductio.

Cicero's Pro Flacco oration provides a uniquely early and clear example of anti-Semitism; in this speech, Cicero plays upon several stereotypical themes which have been echoed throughout the last two millennia.
Despite this failure, Cicero's ''Pro Milone'' was considered by some as his ultimate masterpiece.

Among many aperçus I single out the point that Cicero wished the theft of the famous statue of Ceres at Henna to be seen as "an allegory for Verres' rape of Sicily itself" (p.124).
Cicero has clearly exaggerated the contrast between the allegedly naive younger Roscius and his supposedly street wise fellow townsmen Magnus and Capito as well as between the potentia of Chrysogonus and the resourcelessness of his own client.
