Process Oriented Psychology - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Process Oriented Psychology refers to a body of theory and practice that encompasses a broad range of psychotherapeutic, personal growth, and group process applications.
One was Jung’s concept of the individuation process – the process by which a psychotherapeutic client integrates contents of the unconscious that are presented to him or her through dreams, fantasies and synchronicities.
Furthermore, when a client is encouraged to embrace or identify with a secondary process experience, he or she is generally reluctant or even unable to do so, as though a boundary separates the primary from the secondary processes.

Process structure analysis demonstrates how these altered experiences are missing in the addict' s everyday life and how important they are to complement normal everyday consciousness.
On the Experiencing scale, a measure of client involvement in the therapeutic process (Klein et al 1969), which is based on ratings of session transcripts and video tapes by trained raters, the increases in the average and the peak scores between sessions were significant too.
Case vignettes and process observations are given in detail for two clients while process structures are analyzed tentatively for all thirteen persons in the study.

 introduction
Process Work has developed, on the one hand, into a comprehensive therapeutic system with its own set of skills and methods, designed for working with the entire spectrum of human experience and applied to many areas such as working with the dying and seriously ill, conflict resolution, altered and extreme states of consciousness and addictions.
With its roots in Jungian psychology, alchemy, shamanism, Taoism and physics, Process Work believes that the solution to a problem is contained within the disturbance itself and provides a practical framework through which individuals, couples, families and groups can connect with greater awareness and creativity.
Process Work may be considered the art and science of helping individuals, couples, families and groups to explore and maybe move beyond the boundaries of their immediate identities.

Losing people close to you through someone dying or the death of a relationship is difficult for everyone, but people who can feel and express their feelings handle these situations much more effectively than those who can't express them.
Those who process emotions regularly are less prone to emotions coming out in uncontrolled ways, so these people tend to feel more in control of themselves.
