The Prodigy: Their Law: The Singles 1990-2005 - PopMatters Music Review
When Liam Howlett's Prodigy project first hit the scene, it quickly blew up into an underground phenomenon, renowned at least as much for its live show (which featured a couple of dancers and an MC on stage with Howlett) as its solid recorded output.
The same can't be said for The Prodigy circa 2004 (though 2002's "Baby's Got a Temper" is unceremoniously and mercifully omitted), for whom two of the three singles enlist the "talent" of Juliette Lewis, who screams all over Fat of the Land-reject backing tracks with no regard for musical ability.
Their Law is a solid retrospective featuring some of the best Prodigy material to date, and its second disc will be a treasure for the many fans who have followed the band for 15 years running.

By 1997 a very popular Prodigy feature, on January 26th of that year Doran debuted a “syndicated” version of the column called “The Comics Newswire” on Usenet’s various “rec.arts.comics” communities.
Receiving several emails over the next few weeks from other websites claiming copyright of the name “The Comics Newswire”, on February 21st Doran changed the column’s name to the tongue-in-cheek ”CBI [Comic Book Internet] Newsarama”, and unbeknownst to him at the time, an enduring brand name was officially born.
The first to apply professional journalistic standards and dedicated, first-hand coverage to comic book news on the Internet, Doran was soon approached by then-popular comic book online retailer AnotherUniverse.com, and the “CBI Newsarama” became an exclusive regular, weekly feature of AnotherUniverse’s “Mania” Magazine in the summer of 1997, solidifying Newsarama’s evolution into a professional venture.

 Peanuts: A Comic Book History
Schulz's comic strip "Li'l Folks" was finally accepted by United Features Syndicate, re-christened "Peanuts" and debuted in seven newspapers on October 2, 1950, little did he realize that from such humble beginnings would mushroom worldwide popularity and prominence over the next 50 years.
Much has been written about this strip: Precocious children interacting in a world where adults are never seen, the underlying level of pathos of its main hero Charlie Brown, and most phenomenally, the growth from a minor role to eventual stardom by his dog Snoopy.
This information has been confirmed for me by the late comic strip art collector/historian/agent Mark J. Cohen, who was gracious enough to ask Charles M. Schulz over dinner about his contribution to those Dell issues.
