We came across Prospero when we went to the Animal Rescue League of Boston to look at Circe, whose picture was on their web site.
Circe (or Shyla, as they were calling her then) had been adopted out once and returned after less than 24 hours because she dented the crate they had put her in, and almost got out.
The shelter thought maybe she had "separation anxiety" (actually, I think she just didn't appreciate being crated when there were more interesting things to do outside the crate), so they had started putting other dogs in her cage to keep her company.
