In the Marche region, which is located on the eastern side of the Apennines, one COM per province was established, respectively in Serravalle del Chienti for the municipalities of the Macerata province, and in Fabriano, for the municipalities of the Ancona province.

He was born on 23 December 1877 in Fabriano in the province of Ancona (Italy), one of the 'classic' stamping grounds of anarchism (along with the Romagna, the VaIdarno and the areas around Carrera and La Spezia), which was to be the epicentre of the famous 'red week' uprising in 1914.
