The large numbers of Sierra Leonean refugees currently camping at the Sierra Leonean embassy in Conakry are becoming a source of concern for the Guinean authorities.
The UN Coordination Office in Conakry, established by the UN Humanitarian Coordinator for Sierra Leone, is planning to alleviate this situation by helping the Sierra Leonean embassy to manage the influx of Sierra Leonean asylum seekers.
