  PSION Series 3/3a palmtop FAQ part 5/6
THE EMULATOR Psion, in their great generosity, have released their Psion emulator for the Series 3 and later on for the Series 3a.
There is a Psion 3 emulator for the Series 3 and another one for the Series 3a, both available in the IC archive, which allows you to run OPL programs on the PC.
Psion also provide some example programs which are referenced in the manuals.

 Opera Press Release: mCommerce Now a Reality on Psion Platform
Psion PLC has signed a strategic licensing agreement with Opera Software ASA, a privately held software developer and producer based in Oslo, Norway, to license their advanced HTML browser to the Psion range.
Psion's new browser is a breakthrough for its users who will be able to complete secure on-line m-commerce transactions and view full Internet content effortlessly from their Psions.
Psion is the largest shareholder in Symbian, a joint venture established in partnership with Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola and Matsushita.

Psion have produced an emulator of the Psion 3a which runs under native DOS (not in a DOS window) on the PC.
Was developed by Psion for testing the early versions of software in development for the Psion3, and as such, should be fairly sturdy and accurate.

 OpenPsion - Linux for Psion Computers
Installation of linux on a Psion requires some prior experience with the linux operating system.
There have also been moves to merge this project with the openembedded project, which would be a good idea.
Some systems support compactflash memory, so that the whole system is less volatile, use of the initrd.gz filesystem is avoided, more complete linux filesystems can be built, and all of the memory of the Psion can be used as system memory.
