For the record, I don't really care for psionics, traditionally, though they were greatly improved upon in the switch from 2nd Ed to 3rd Ed.
Mind you I only have the Psionics Handbook to go off of, not the Expanded, so if psion and psychic warrior are no longer the base classes, this is something I'm not aware of.
The same goes for Psychic Warriors and Soulblades and Rangers and Paladins.
