Puck (The Real World) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
David "Puck" Rainey (born July 18, 1968 in Alameda County, California, United States) appeared on The Real World: San Francisco in 1994.
He became notorious for becoming only the second Real Worlder to be evicted from the house due to his increasingly obnoxious antics and was a bicycle messenger during the show's shooting.
Others, such as Yini Yohans in her editorial in the September 11, 2000 edition of the San Francisco Call, concede that Puck "was a messenger for milliseconds," meaning that he was one of numerous young people to briefly work in the industry but not be adopted by the somewhat cliquish community.

The telepic starts just like every ''Real World'' season, with seven roomies arriving at their new loft and instantly establishing themselves as versions of the archetypes we've seen over and over again: the hot snotty woman, the brooding artist, the loud frat guy, the confrontational African-American woman, and the virgin, among others.

This movie is produced by Bunim-Murray Productions, the creators of ''Real World,'' so while they would like to poke fun at their baby, they are obviously reticent to be too self-aware.

Real World jumped the shark after the second season when it became obvious the "random" people were chosen for their arrogance, narrow-minded political views, or lack of social skills.
Real World is interesting because just when you thought they jumped the shark, they find a new jackass willing to expose themselves as the fool that they are.
That is THEIR reality, and while it is not the reality of anyone else in the world (except, of course, the past casts of this and other similar reality TV shows), it is a reality nonetheless, and it makes for compelling television.
