considering we are 30km south of puerto maldonado, 2 hours by boat to bolivia, and five hours by boat to brazil - yeah, we are definately not in kansas anymore (wizzard of ozz connotation)
But the people in charge told me, that I was the only one booked on that flight, which was pretty early in the morning, and they did not want to make the effort of taking me all alone down 2,5 hours to the airport.
So when I found out, I asked the one guide, if I could not just return with him to the lodge and come back to Maldonado tomorrow with all the others, because Maldonado is not the place that you want to stay in, when you are a girl and do not speak Spanish.
