Dead body of seventy-year-old Bosiljka Puhar was found last week in her home in the Lika village of Podum, near Otocac, and the autopsy indicated that the old woman had most likely first been raped and then murdered by about ten blows applied by a blunt object to the back of her head.
"Bosiljka Puhar is a Serb and she lived alone in the house," a daily newspaper reports, and in conclusion warns that "the murder has disturbed deserted Podum, a former stronghold of Serb rebels, from where grenades were fired on Otocac, Prozor, and the rest of Gacko valley".
Yes, it is not nice to rape and murder, the newspaper article seems to say, but isn't it true that the murdered woman lived in the "stronghold of Serb rebels, from where Otocac, Prozor and the rest of the Gacko valley [had been] bombed"?
