Most asking when the page would be up and a few asking what I was smoking when I decided to add it to The Vault and of course, if they could have some.
After striking a deal with the mountain witch Haggis (Florence Schauffler), the demon "vengeance" (a.k.a Pumpkinhead) is sent forth to unleash its hellish fury upon these transgressors.
Pumpkinhead was in the can for almost a year before it was eventually released in 1988.

 SAVE Files: Pumpkinhead
Pumpkinhead is a grotesque beast, a gangling, tailed humanoid with a swollen, bulbous head and long, spidery talons.
Pumpkinhead is the embodiment of vengeance, summoned to act by those who have been grievously wronged.
Pumpkinhead also appears intelligent enough to disable a motorbike by removing the drive chain, and has a firm enough grasp of human psychology that it can use a corpse to panic its victims into running where it wants them to go.

 OAFE - MM2: Pumpkinhead review
Pumpkinhead's sculpt is dead on to his film self - his huge, lumbering legs stand tall below his bony body; enormous boned shoulders stretch out to his wide arms and thick, nasty claws.
Pumpkinhead is articulated at the torso, legs, wrists, and also has ball joints at the shoulders.
Pumpkinhead looks excellent on display with it, although I wouldn't mind a couple more accessories (like a victim's head or torn limb or something) but as it is, he's a huge figure and another accessory would probably raise his great, cheap price.

I felt that it took away from the horrifying presents of the Pumpkinhead and the whole basic plot of the film which is the a tortured soul back for revenge and to do so will kill any one which inflicted pain to him or his "family" in his human life.

 Pumpkinhead - Movie Reviews Blog
Pumpkinhead is a far too forgotten horror film that should be rented by any fan of the genre at least once, if only to appreciate Stan Winston’s remarkable effects and the Twisted Fairy Tale-concept behind the story.
Pumpkinhead II is an inferior sequel, which should *really* be forgotton, with dodgey special effects and a derivative story.
While Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings was mostly a re-imagining of the Pumpkinhead story, Pumpkinhead: Ashes to Ashes is pretty much a direct sequel to the original film, even going so far as to bring back the lead actor from the first film as well as a number of characters.

Video Review @ Stomp Tokyo - Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings (1994)
Pumpkinhead II suffers from a bad case of the blahs and some pathetic storytelling, but these are par for the course in the horror genre -- the real test of a horror movie is in its villain.
Part of Pumpkinhead's problem is that the set-ups for each kill are too complicated for a monster of his kind, as in the scene where he attacks Judge Dixon.
Pumpkinhead II does little to distinguish itself from the hordes of mediocre horror films lurking on the shelves of a video store near you.

During that special time, Pumpkinhead says, rapping was more fun than anythingelse, and the culture in New York was conducive to peaceful battling, where one's skills, rather than violence, would determine the outcome.
Pumpkinhead's skills though-a sharp, witty delivery overflowing with off-kilter rhymes and ingenious punch lines-earned him the respect of his peers and spawned a growing fan base.

The monster, Pumpkinhead, is really cool looking, created as it was by special effects man Stan Winston, who also directed.
The atmosphere and mood of this movie are constantly menacing, even in the bright light of day, and Pumpkinhead seems to bring an aura of electrical storms with him wherever he goes, the sound of cicadas and the flashing of heat lightening most unsettling.
