 Sassi Punnu
Hashim Shah (1753-1833), a very famous Punjabi poet, wrote this story in his classic book "Sassi" and Shah Abdul Latif Bhattai (reh.) included this story in his spiritual classic Sindhi literature.
There are some different version of this story but here is the film version...
Similarly Punnu’s name was the death song for Sassi who repeated it like a song and flames of fire leapt up and she was also reduced to ashes.
