In Music We Trust - Barnyard Ballers: Punkabilly Invasion
Well, you get the punkabilly sounds of Barnyard Ballers, San Diego's chaotic punkabilly band that loves to bust out the country as much as they do the punk.
Some might even call their sound intoxicating, as the alcoholic blood that runs through it seems so much fun you'll feel like picking up a beer, cranking up this album, and having a blast.
The drums tap and dance with the song, making it even easier for you to get up and just throw caution to the wind and have a great time.

Boys with the hoods clean up - www.smh.com.au
Local hip-hop and punkabilly acts raised some heat amid the icy winds at Livid, writes George Palathingal.
On to the Main Stage, where a veritable banquet of rapidly rising Oz-rockers (Gelbison, Rocket Science, et al) was served, via trapeze artists braving the wind and the intense performance theatre of the Bangarra Dancers, who gave the day an entertaining, if somewhat tokenly arty bent.
Yet while Linkin Park and Jurassic 5 may have been the Main Stage's big guns, it was the triumphant Melbourne punkabillys The Living End before them who delivered a textbook set of festival crowd-pleasing stuff: a rousing, celebratory pocket greatest-hits.

Yam springs out of 'punkabilly' roots
But a "yam" has descended onto the local music scene and is busy uprooting many overgrown potatoes.
Formed four months ago, the members of Yam are busy acclimating to their environment, and not doing such a bad job -- the "punkabilly" band recently won big at the annual Battle of the Bands competition run by the Asylum.
Guitarist Dave Kress said the initial reaction from the band members was immense surprise, considering the considerable talents of the other competing bands.

Reverend Horton heats it up punkabilly style
The two bands playing there tried to take the audience back in time a few decades, but succeeded in getting only part way there.
The Reverend Horton Heat performed an entertaining set of "punkabilly" music -- that is, music based on the revved-up country style popularized in the '50s, known as rockabilly, diluted with the less-subtly channeled energy of '90s "punk."
The Reverend, and his cohorts, performed a wide array of pseudo-traditional rock 'n' roll songs.
