Pupa - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Most butterfly pupae are attached to a surface by a Velcro-like arrangement of a silken pad spun by the caterpillar and a set of hooks (cremaster) at the tip of the pupal abdomen.
Moth pupae are usually dark in color and are usually formed in underground cells, loose in the soil, or in a silken cocoon spun by the caterpillar, sometimes suspended from a twig or concealed in the leaf litter.
Insects emerge (eclose) from the pupa by splitting the pupal case, and the whole process of pupation is controlled by the insect's hormones.

The pupa is a resting stage in which the insect is transformed into an adult.
At the end of the pupa stage, the integument is shed and the imago, or adult form, emerges.
Pupae of moths usually have an additional outer covering, called a cocoon, built by the larva (called a caterpillar) just before it enters the pupa stage.

With the mosquito, the pupa is a resting, non-feeding life stage.
If disturbed, the pupa is capable of some limited locomotion and will jerk and tumble down into decaying matter in the pond or lake bed.
The timing of development, from the aquatic larval stage to the pupa and emerging as an adult, depends on the species and environmental factors.

Pupa is nice and has speedy combos also her stage which is the same as Pepe's is a nice alternaive to all the other high paced stages in ROTD I give Pupa overall a (9.2) out of ten because she's a fresh young new design to the ROTD Cast.
Although Pupa's design might come off to others as simply being Ghettho I like her character a lot,she a nice character to complement Pepe to be honest although they don't really seem to be ROTD material they fit into the game rather nicely.
