Purification of the Virgin - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Candlemas (Russian: Сретение Господне, Sretenye Gospodnye, Spanish: Candelaria) is a Christian feast commemorating the purification of the Virgin Mary and the presentation of the infant Jesus in the Temple.
The feast of the Purification of the Virgin is observed by the Eastern Rite Catholic Churches on February 15 in the Julian Calendar, which, from 1900 to 2100, falls on February 2 in the Gregorian calendar.
Since the liturgical reforms of the Second Vatican Council, this title of the feast was dropped in favor of the Presentation of the Lord with the purification of Mary and the blessing of candles de-emphasized in favor of a focus on the prophecy of Simeon.

Second, there is a very strong need to shed light on the correct path of purification as delineated by the Quran and Sunnah- free of the foreign influence, deviations and heresies that have found their way into the realm of the religion and have caused a great deal of harm.
Without the purification of the souls, the revival will only be on the outer shell and will, in fact, be a "deceptive" revival, in the sense that the inner consciousness will not have been reformed and the lapse back to the pre-revival times may be very close at hand.
Indeed, without the purification of the souls, the very goals of the revival from the outset may be wrong.

Protein purification - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Protein purification is a series of processes intended to isolate a single type of protein from a complex mixture.
Analytical purification produces a relatively small amount of protein for a variety of research or analytical purposes, including identification, quantification, and studies of the protein's structure, post-translational modifications and function.
Purification of integral membrane proteins requires disruption of the cell membrane in order to isolate any one particular protein from others that are in the same membrane compartment.

 CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: Candlemas
According to the Mosaic law a mother who had given birth to a man-child was considered unclean for seven days; moreover she was to remain three and thirty days "in the blood of her purification"; for a maid-child the time which excluded the mother from sanctuary was even doubled.
Forty days after the birth of Christ Mary complied with this precept of the law, she redeemed her first-born from the temple (Numbers 18:15), and was purified by the prayer of Simeon the just, in the presence of Anna the prophetess (Luke 2:22 sqq.
The feast appears in the Gelasianum (manuscript tradition of the seventh century) under the new title of Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

 What is Purification?
Purification also follows the command of Jesus expressed in Matthew 5:48: "Be ye perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect." Here, Jesus asks us to transcend ourselves - to strive for a goal that may seem unattainable, yet can be attained.

The Purification Program is a carefully designed combination of exercise, vitamins, nutrition and sauna use which dislodges drug residues and other toxins from the fatty tissues so that these substances can then be eliminated from the body.
While the Purification Program rids one of the biochemical residues that reactivate past drug experience, it is but the first step to a full resolution to the spiritual devastation caused by drug, medicine and alcohol abuse.
The Purification Program is a tightly supervised regimen of exercise, sauna, nutrition and a properly ordered schedule which includes sufficient rest.

 Water purification FAQ
Before the purification process begins some contaminants, such as oil, can be settled in a settling tank.
This biological purification process usually takes a long time and it is only used for water that is polluted with contaminants that the microrganisms, usually bacteria, can convert.
When bacteria are used for water purification there are two sorts of transfer; one of these is aerobic transfer.

Thus, the use of monoclonal antibodies in a purification scheme may preclude its use in purifying certain mutants.
For this type of purification step an initial experiment is performed to monitor the fraction of overall protein, as well as desired protein, remaining in solution (and pellet) as a function of precipitant concentration.

Purification was facilitated by the development of a rapid, quantitative binding assay.
The binding component was stabilized during purification by the use of mixed lipid/detergent micelles of defined composition, and by the saturation of the site with tetrodotoxin.
The purification was achieved by means of a highly selective adsorption of the toxin-binding component to DEAE-Sephadex A-25, followed by desorption at high ionic strength and chromatography over Sepharose 6B.

So a researcher can select a purification system he or she would like to use and simply buy the vector which has what is needed to do the job.
In addition, the purification tool is placed in the vector so that it is added to the N-terminal of the target protein but separated by a amino acid sequence designed to be a point of attack for a specific protease.
