		The marble for the pyramidion was quarried at the Beaver Dam Quarry in Baltimore County, Md., and was delivered to Washington by the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, Maryland's own.
		The ribs are then carried upward until those nearest the angles of the shaft meet in the hips of the pyramidion, while those in the center of each face are connected still higher in the apex by voussoir stones or keystones, forming two arches intersecting each other at right angles.
		On October 29, 1884, the last piece of marble for this part of the structure was delivered by the contractor Sisson, and on November 21 it was dressed by the stone-cutters.

		On one face of this pyramidion is a unique and beautifully-carved representation of the deceased, his two hands lifted with palms facing outwards in a gesture of prayer.

		The prolific Ozrics spread their tentacles once again, but to these ears they only seem to be improving, which is quite some achievement, for 'Pyramidion' is their 17th album.
		Not much has changed on 'Pyramidion', other than the synth percentage is considerably higher and 4 of the 5 tracks are live, not that you would notice, their professionalism allows them as much comfort on stage as in the studio, one can hardly tell the difference.
		Pick of the bunch is the mysterious 'Xingu', more atmospheric than an actual trip to Mars and far less dangerous, the Ozric's simply revel in the environment of a live scenario, where occasionaly synth solo's replace the stringed ones to provide some moments of truly captivating listening.

	Poznan Archaeological Museum - Obelisk of Ramesses II
		This project was realized in October 2003 and since then the pyramidion is placed on the top of the obelisk.
		The assumption was that the proportions should be less or more like other Eighteenth Dynasty obelisks and it appeared that the height of it could be exactly one cubit (52.5 cm), which agrees with the observation that the shaft of the obelisk was probably planned to be 6 cubits high.
		It is fixed upon a low base, which is a cast of the preserved surface of the top of the obelisk, made of special cement-like material.
