| | Macworld: Getting a qdf file when I need a qif file |
 | | Qif files as they are defined in the Quicken 3 manual, and can be found on the Web with Google, don't specify which account, so the right one has to be open when you import. |
 | | You might delete all the transactions in the QIF file that were successfully imported, leaving the rest (there is some header stuff before any transactions at the top of the QIF file that need to be retained), save this off and try to import this shortened version and see if more transactions come in. |
 | | It may be that there is a transaction in the PC QIF file that causes a transfer of money from/to another account, and that other account doesn't already exist in your Mac Quicken file, so Mac Quicken doesn't know what to do, so it stops importing at that point. |
