Secret Teachings of All Ages: The Qabbalah, the Secret Doctrine of Israel
Qabbalah means the secret or hidden tradition, the unwritten law, and according to an early Rabbi, it was delivered to man in order that through the aid of its abstruse principles he might learn to understand the mystery of both the universe about him and the universe within him.
The esoteric doctrines of the Qabbalah are in alignment with the secret teachings of all the schools of philosophy, but the method by which its secrets are revealed to the wise and concealed from the ignorant is most unusual.
The Analogical Qabbalah was formulated to exhibit the relationship which exists between all things in Nature, and it revealed to the wise that all creatures and substances were one in essence, and that man--the Little Universe--was a replica in miniature of God--the Great Universe.

According to the rules of Qabbalah, there is only one way to "reckon the number of the beast", and it is summing the single cabalistic value of every single GREEK letter of a name, and the resulting value should be 666.
Well, for the Qabbalah, "12" is the number for "a lot of"; and that's because the tribes itselves were 12: a whole lot of people.
With that premise, we have to notice that in the Qabbalah the number meaning "perfection" is "7" (7 are the Virtues, 7 are the Deadly Sins, etc....Strangely, 10 are the Commandments!).

Qabbalah has its central basis in the Bible, though "the system is never directly outlined except when illustrated" in certain mystifying examples like the strange vision of the prophet Ezekiel (17).
These four angels represent for Qabbalah the "powers of the Eternal Elements, and their function is to set the Primal Pattern according to which the rest of Existence emerges" (207).
For the Qabbalah, "The determining factor [in the existence of evil] is the estrangement of created things from their source of emanation" that comes about through a separation (Scholem 123).

The principal doctrines of the Qabbalah deal with the nature of the divine incomprehensible All ('eyn soph); the divine emanations of the Sephiroth; cosmogony; the creation or emanation of angels and men, and of their destiny.
In the Qabbalah, each world or zone belonging to the lowest of the septenary is inhabited by races of beings, called collectively shells (qelippoth -- often wrongly rendered demons), under the dominion of Sama'el, Prince of Darkness or Angel of Death.

However, Qabbalah has been in the public eye for nearly two days, and cannot be expected to capture the fickle spiritual interests of the (emotionally retarded) public for long.

The Occult Glossary by G. de Purucker - Q R
The basis of the Jewish Qabbalah was the archaic Chaldean secret doctrine which was a system of occult or esoteric philosophy handed down in part by oral, and in part by written, transmission -- and mostly by oral reception, wholly so in the case of the deeper mysteries of the Qabbalah.
The Jewish Qabbalah, such as it exists today, has been disfigured and distorted by the interpolations and mutilations of many Western occultists, especially by mystics of strong Christian bias.
The Qabbalah, therefore, is essentially the theosophy of the Jews, or rather the form which the universal theosophy of the archaic ages took in its transmission through the Jewish mind.

What an unusual tarot deck this one is! For many years now the Ceremonial Magicians have used multiple systems such as astrology, Qabbalah, and so on, in their rituals and divination.
It claims to be a "pictorial synthesis of the three great pillars of magick." These cards contain a picture of somewhat traditional tarot design, augmented with little windows all over the card with various and sundry systems of divination and information thrown in.
I found the main body of the pictures to be mildly interesting, they aren't terribly well drawn and some of the pictures seem to have little to nothing to do with the card's meaning.
