The Pyramid of Ibi, located in the South Saqqara necropolis, is the only pyramid that we can date to the First Intermediate Period and definitely call a pyramid without some controversy.
Little of the layout of this pyramid is known.  We do know that the substructure had a descending passage that led to a burial chamber and a serdab, or side annex.
