To my knowledge, only one adventure of the Spider has ever been reprinted by DC Comics, and that one was the story from Crack Comics #25, which saw print in Detective Comics #441.
As a Quality Comics character, he was one of the heroes who went with Uncle Sam to protect Earth-X during World War II, becoming part of the Freedom Fighters.
The very use of the character is a nice homage, of sorts, to the characters of the Golden Age, given the general obscurity of The Spider in even Quality Comics' stable of characters, and the change of allegiances by The Spider makes for a good way to bring him into the modern era of comics.

The writing in the comics are generally not up to par with the television shows, as they usually have different writers all-together.
These comics tend to take place between seasons, during particular time periods in the past, or tell the stories of events that were referenced to in the shows.
These comics generally have better writing, they fit into the continuety of the shows, and so these are reviewed on this site.

Quality lasted until December 1956 (The Spirit reprint comic having been cancelled in 1950), where the remaining titles moved over to DC Comics, along with the other characters that Quality had published.
Harvey Comics were sold to Jeff Montgomery in 1990 (with the exception of the superhero titles and the Sad Sack character) but the comics line was discontinued in 1994, the characters were sold to Classic Media LLC in 2001.

However, not all comic conventions are good for having this kind of turn out, you have to pick and choose the right one to go to.

This is a quality, slick-looking comics anthology, although I imagine that may people will engage with it as a kind of ambassador to the world of children, something many feel the industry needs right now.
What's odd about that is that most of the work in here has been done years ago, meaning that Nickelodeon has done less talking about how to try and seize the kids market and more just publishing comics for their readers, who happen to be kids.
The level of craft on display is generally high, one guesses due to the ability to work on high-quality paper and a decent paycheck, and with a talented cartoonist like Terry LaBan, say, who rarely gets to cut loose, this can be a kind of joy in itself.
