  Quarkonium Quantum Mechanics
This so-called quarkonium system might then be interpreted according to the familiar rules of nonrelativistic quantum mechanics using a potential to describe the interquark force.
Another observable, the square of the charmonium wave function at the origin, is measured by the leptonic decay widths of the spin-one levels where the quark and antiquark have their spins pointing in the same direction.
In the quarkonium picture, the decay of a vector (spin one, negative parity) meson into a lepton pair is described by the annihilation of the quarks into a virtual photon, which subsequently decays into the lepton pair.

Quarkonium - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In particle physics, quarkonium (pl. quarkonia) designates a flavorless meson whose constituents are a quark and its own antiquark.
This usage is because the lighter quarks (up, down, and strange) have very similar masses, compared to the heavier quarks, and so the physical states actually seen in experiments are quantum mechanical mixtures of the light quark states.
In this technique, one uses the fact that the motion of the quarks that comprise the quarkonium state is non-relativistic to assume that they move in a static potential, much like non-relativistic models of the hydrogen atom.

Quarkonium production at DØ   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-01)
Quarkonium production in proton-antiproton collisions provides an insight into the nature of the strong force, one of the four fundamental forces and the one responsible for holding together the quark constituents inside the nuclei of everyday matter.
The second is a subject of different model approaches, with parameters tuned to the data.
The rate for direct production of quarkonium states at the Tevatron collider, reported by the CDF Collaboration and based on the Run I data, turned out to be more than an order of magnitude larger than expected.

Meson - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Flavorless mesons are mesons whose flavor quantum numbers are all equal to zero.
This means that these quarks are quarkonium states (quark-antiquark pairs of the same flavor) or a linear superposition of such states.
The name of a flavorless meson is determined by its total spin S and total orbital angular momentum L.

The 1998 RHIC/INT Workshop on " Quarkonium Production in Relativistic Nuclear Collisions" from May 11-15, 1998, will be organized in conjunction with the INT'98 spring program on "Probes of Dense Matter in Ultrarelativistic Heavy Ion Collisions from March 9 - June 12, 1998.
Quarkonium suppression is a promising signal of the quark-gluon plasma formation in relativistic nuclear collisions.
Talks and discussions will concentrate on the understanding of quarkonium production and suppression mechanisms, theoretical interpretations of current experiments and strategies for future experiments.

But to this day the baseline enclave remains the poorest and most disadvantaged on Corona, and whilst Quark culture is not endangered (thanks to the ancient and strongly entrenched ghettoism), the population has been slowly but steadily declining over the past millennium, through a combination of outbreeding and outgening, migration and falling birthrate.
Sculpting quarks to create completely new kinds of subatomic particles, quarkonium structures, and so on.
Since the density and strong interactions lend themselves well to quantum computation quarkonium is a powerful (if expensive and heavy) computronium matrix used by hyperturing entities.

Recently we had two organizational pre-meetings of the Quarkonium Working Group, one at the ICHEP Conference in Amsterdam and one at CERN, on August 2.
The outcome of these pre-meetings is as follows: 1) DATES OF THE FIRST MEETING The first meeting of the Quarkonium Working Group will take place at CERN, on November 8-10 (starting in the morning of Nov. 8, and ending in the late afternoon of Nov. 10).
We remind you that the web page of the Quarkonium Working Group is http://alephwww.physik.uni-siegen.de/~quarkonium/ Under the link "workshops" you can reach additional information on the November workshop.

The NRQCD factorization approach has led to dramatic progress in our understanding of the inclusive production of heavy quarkonium.
In this approach, nonrelativistic QCD is used to separate the cross section into perturbative parton cross sections and nonperturbative matrix elements and also to estimate the relative magnitudes of the matrix elements.
The NRQCD factorization approach differs dramatically from these models in its predictions for the production of charmonium at large transverse momentum.

I'm assuming by "Quarkonium" you mean ultra-dense matter composed entirely of unbound quarks (which may or may not even be possible at all) at absurdly high densities.
I dont know if this is useful except as a nasty weapon but a "QUARKONIUM" style matter does exsist.
It would probably suffer a massive gravaty collapsing event if compressed and form a singularity so the neutronium like quark stuff is out.

Heavy Quarkonium Production at RHIC   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-01)
At RHIC, the initial production of heavy quarks will for the first time yield multiple c\barc pairs in each central event.
If a region of deconfined quarks and gluons is subsequently formed, a new mechanism for the formation of heavy quarkonium bound states will be activated.
This will result from the mobility of heavy quarks in the deconfined region, such that bound states can be formed from a quark and an antiquark which were originally produced in separate incoherent interactions.
