Provincial Highway 297 (or Route 297) is short 25 km two-lane north/south highway which starts in Baie-des-Sables at the junction of Quebec route 132 and ends in Saint-Moise.
The highway acts mainly as a shortcut between Baie-des-Sables and the southern section of Quebec route 132 which leads to the Matapédia River Valley and the southern part of the Gaspé Peninsula.

Quebec's Route 132 is the longest highway in Quebec.
It follows the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River from the border with the state of New York in the hamlet of Dundee, west of Montréal to the Gulf of Saint Lawrence and circles the Gaspé Peninsula.
Unlike the more direct Quebec Autoroute 20, which it shadows from Longueuil to Luceville, Route 132 takes a more scenic route which passes through many small towns.

Provincial Highway 133 (or Route 133) is a north/south highway on the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River.
Its northern terminus is in Sorel-Tracy, at the junction of Route 132, and the southern terminus is in Saint-Armand at the United States border with Vermont, close to Highgate Springs, where it continues southward as Interstate 89.
Route 133 follows the east bank of the Richelieu River for most of its length, up until a little past Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.

I was back onto Route 132 at 15:30 and heading on towards the next town of St. Michel, 8 km further down the road.
She headed out for Quebec City along Hwy 20, stopping at the ‘antique row’ fronting the highway near Drummondville, where she stayed until about 11:00 When I called her at 12:00, she was just passing exit 27, just west of Quebec City.
Route 132 forms the main street, and runs along the crest of the ridge.

Much of the ride was quite beautiful: Quebec has great churches in even quite small towns and rt132 is quite scenic, especially near the coasts.
I'd suggest you don't ride this route, or anywhere in Quebec without good shoulders, if you can't handle this kind of abuse.
Note that I had no real trouble with car drivers and that almost all the truck drivers were fine, but this was the worst day I've ever had for rude truck drivers and one of my most dangerous days of riding.

Always on the 138, North-Shore of the St-Lawrence, and heading for Quebec City, Andre passes Three-Rivers at 2:15 P.M. and arrives at his first campground in Newville in the outskirts of Quebec at 7 :00 P.M. There, he spends the night.
At 4:00 P.M., having covered 132 km in the Rockies and realising that the next campground is too high in the mountains, he decides to stick closer to Fraser River.
If you must use route 1 in Manitoba or 17 in Ontario, be very patient and extremely careful.
