Queens Park is a large gently steeped green space located on one of North Manchester's main access routes.
It is a formal park with rose gardens, and used mainly for walking, hosting of community festivals and events, children's play and for School Nature hunts which are held on a regular basis.
In the early Victorian days, Queens Park stood in the country, when beyond it and towards Middleton, Prestwich and Newton Heath was a region of fields, cloughs and farms.

The Queens Park hotel london, having read reviews prior to our trip, we were pleasantly surprised that our room although small was clean and well laid out.
The lifts were working prior to check in then mysteriously hand written notes appeared stating both were out of order.
It's very close to Kensington park and via bus it's only 10 minutes from Oxford street.
