Minkowski's question mark function - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
In mathematics, the Minkowski question mark function, sometimes called the slippery devil's staircase, is a function, denoted ?(x), possessing various unusual fractal properties.
It is an odd function, and satisfies the functional equation ?(x + 1) = ?(x) + 1; consequently x→?(x) − x is an odd periodic function with period one.
The Minkowski question mark function is a special case of fractal curves known as de Rham curves.

Another theory about the origin of the Question mark proposes that the mark originated in the 9th century, when it appeared as a point followed by the curvy bit written slanted (like a tilde, although the tilde was tilted more upward to the right).
The rhetorical Question mark first appeared in the 1580s and was used at the end of a rhetorical question.

A question is any of several kinds of linguistic expressions normally used by a questioner to request the presentation of information back to the questioner, in the form of an answer, by the audience.
Questions have a number of secondary uses: They may be used ("Socratically") to guide the questioner along an avenue of research.
Students of all ages use questions in their learning of topics, and the skill of having learners creating "investigatable" questions is a central part of inquiry education.

Class sizes in excess of 130 preclude regular marking of students' work and the tutorial system (with seven meetings a year in groups of five or six) operates too infrequently to be capable of intercepting problems as they develop.
Question Mark in fact comes in two flavours: one for you to write the test and a cut down version (the "Test Delivery Software") for your victims.
The idea is that you use the main Question Mark software to write and debug a test and then, once you are happy with it, you distribute the test and the Test Delivery Software to as many students as required.

Question mark - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The question mark (also known as an interrogation point, query, or eroteme) is a punctuation mark that replaces the full stop at the end of an interrogative sentence.
Another hypothesis about the origin of the question mark proposes that the mark originated in the 9th century, when it appeared as a point followed by the curvy bit written slanted (similar to the tilde, although the tilde was tilted more upward to the right).
In linguistics, the question mark is prepended to strings to show that the linguist cannot determine whether they are well-formed or not.

The answer to the previous questions cannot be answered with a simple yes or no; the answers must be in the form of a statement.

Team Building - Teamwork - Team Training - Mark Hillman, Ph.D.
The question is not whether to integrate quality improvement principles into the organization, but how to “enhance” the process.
In order for teams to function effectively, they must be trained to do so, and as teams form, they need to pay attention to their processes as well as to procedures that help them function effectively.
Periodically asking the question “What keeps us from being as effective as we might be?,” strengthens the team and keeps it on target.

At the risk of sounding elitist, most of the folks dropping their question marks aren't Jay McInerney; neither are most of the folks dropping their apostrophes William Faulkner.
I usually ignore it, since I know my humor would be lost if I were to make fun of their question (this may be a bad example, since I guess that could be a question, but it is usually obvious that it is not).

The other BIG factor in what people choose in the above scenario is in-store placement and again there's all sorts of studies about what different companies do there.
