THIS is in connection with the column of Belinda Olivares-Cunanan ("A generation imbued with love of country," June 24, 2004), in which she wrote that Aurora Aragon-Quezon, her son-in-law Felipe Buencamino III and others were ambushed by communists in 1949 in Quezon Province.
Quezon and her party, including her daughter Baby, were ambushed not in Quezon Province but somewhere in Bongabon town in the province of Nueva Ecija on their way to Baler town in Quezon province from Manila.
