QuickTime 4.1, released at the beginning of 2000, added support for movie files larger than 2 gigabytes on Mac OS 9 and later, and dropped support for 68K Macs.
QuickTime 7 was released on April 29, 2005 with Mac OS X v10.4 featuring complete MPEG-4 compliance, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec, live resizing, multi-channel audio, full-screen overlay, and support for interactive animations created with Apple's new tool Quartz Composer.

Plus you want their active-x control enabling the installer of first the basic quicktime to even be able to read their site, then the normal installer upgrading to 6.5.2 public.
