		QuickTime is a multimedia technology developed by Apple Computer, capable of handling various formats of digital video, media clips, sound, text, animation, music, and immersive cylindrical and cubic panoramic images.
		QuickTime 4.1, released at the beginning of 2000, added support for movie files larger than 2 gigabytes on Mac OS 9 and later, and dropped support for 68K Macs.
		QuickTime 7 was released on April 29, 2005 with Mac OS X v10.4 featuring complete MPEG-4 compliance, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC codec, live resizing, multi-channel audio, full-screen overlay, and support for interactive animations created with Apple's new tool Quartz Composer.
