 Westport Now: Quinnipiac University School of Law
Wenig, a professor at the law school since 1978, died Jan. 18 at the age of 76 after a lengthy illness.
Brad Saxton, dean of the law school, said he had received dozens of tributes to Wenig since her death, including one from Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginzburg.
He said the university has established a scholarship in Wenig's name and displayed a portrait of her which he said would initiate a new gallery of law school faculty members.

April 30,2004 - Neal Feigenson, professor of law at Quinnipiac University School of Law, was recently named 2004 Scholar of the Year by the School of Law for his work which includes legal visual persuasion and jury-decision making.
We also recognized that lawyers were using more and more of these visual technologies in their law practices, but that law schools, which, like traditional law practice, are anchored in text-based communication, did not seem to be taking notice of these developments.
In addition, visual technologies can backfire in court if the equipment doesn't work and the lawyer isn't fully prepared to present his or her case in an alternative fashion, or if the lawyer and/or his or her assistants stumble in using the equipment.
