		Jeff Wingate, Quintin: We are still negotiating with most of the major manufacturers to become a full line distributor of cigars so we can be a top line distributor of all the brands.
		We feel that it is best to build a brand from the ground floor up, getting some brand loyalty through our regular customers versus what I am going to call the "shotgun" approach, which is throwing a bunch of ads into the media and hoping it produces results.
		We are never going to be a million a year stick brand, but we are always going to have good quality, always have supply available to our customers.

		The reborn, twin-engine Silver Queen is retracing the route of the original Silver Queen, which first landed in Kenya in 1920, carrying two daring South African explorer pilots, Pierre Van Ryneveld and Quintin Brand.
		Veronica Brand, daughter of one of the pioneer pilots Quintin Brand, who met Bresler during their stop in Rome, recalls her father relating how in 1920, while flying over airspace she strongly believes must have been Kenya's, Silver Queen developed problems.
		The other country that features prominently is Zimbabwe, where, says Veronica Brand, the plane crash-landed in Bulawayo in 1920.

	Vimy Aircraft Project \| Flights
		Col Pierre van Ryneveld and Capt Christopher Quintin Brand flew from London to Cape Town between 4 February and 20 March 1920.
		The rebirth of the Silver Queen and re-enactments of its epic voyages were organized by the same team which produced the widely successful Vimy 1994 flight from London to Australia, which was featured as the cover story in the May 1995 edition of National Geographic.
		In the Spring/Summer of 1999, the Silver Queen re-enacted the pioneering flight from London to Cape Town by Pierre van Ryneveld and Christopher Quintin Brand which completed two of the three great Vimy flights of 1919 and 1920.

	History of Aviation in South Africa - London to Cape Town
		In December 1919, the British Air Ministry announced surveys had been completed by the RAF and a string of airfields established on the African route.
		Lt.Col Pierre van Ryneveld and Flight Lieutenant Christopher Joseph (Flossie) Quintin-Brand left London on 4 February 1920 from Brooklands Aerodrome in Surrey, England in the Vimy named the Silver Queen.
		van Ryneveld and Brand were knighted for their achievement.

		I slept okay in San Quintin but occasionally was awakened by the constant rain all night.
		There were four single beds in our room and luckily, the roof over my bed didn't leak, (My buddy had to change beds in the middle of the night as his bed started getting soaked from the leaky roof).
		I am not a big fan of driving an almost 300 pound bike through the mud with a front tire that is less than brand new as my front end was washing out quite a bit.

		They flew to Cairo and then on the 11th of February 530 miles from Cairo the engine failed and they made an emergency landing at Korosko.
