		Quintos, 65, is deep into pro-life advocacy work, particularly in the Christian formation of young parents and professionals whom she believes hold the key to a more peaceful and just society that would not close its eyes to the evils that her family has suffered.
		The quiet and unassuming Quintos has found the courage to literally knock on the doors of Congress and other government agencies to oppose legislative measures that she feels promote abortion and would bring about the destruction of the Filipino family.
		Unlike many victims of heinous crimes, Quintos does not want the death penalty for her sons' killers whom she considers to be "unenlightened" and to have been used by more powerful forces.

		SENIOR Superintendent Efren Quintos, police provincial director, ordered police chiefs in Iloilo to seal the barrels of policemen's service firearms to ensure they will not fire their guns during New Year's Eve.
		Quintos said in an interview Wednesday he will personally put an "unbreakable seal" on every barrel of the firearm issued to all officers of the Iloilo Provincial Police Office (Ippo).
		According to Quintos, policemen whose guns have broken seals must explain in writing by January 3.
