This approximate date can be inferred from the fact that he conducted his first quodlibetal dispute as a Master of Theology at Paris in 1285, and that one could not become a Master in this faculty before reaching the age of 35.
Wippel (2006) concludes it is more probable that it is indeed a Quodlibet, but one that is unique in terms of its organizing plan and structure.
In presenting Henry's theory of intentional distinction Godfrey traces this back in large measure to what he regards as an incorrect interpretation of Avicenna's notion of nature or essence when it is considered simply in itself or "absolutely" rather than as existing in the mind or in an individual entity.

 World Wide Words: Quodlibet
In the late Middle Ages in Germany, quodlibet started to be applied to type of humour that featured daft lists of items loosely combined under an absurd theme — one example was objects forgotten by women fleeing from a harem.
Something similar happened in France, where a quodlibet became a witty riddle — even today, avoir de quolibet means to produce clever repartee on demand.
The German idea of the humorous conglomeration was first applied to a musical composition by Wolfgang Schmeltzl in 1544 and the name later became the usual term in that language for facetious combinations of tunes haphazardly combined.

In a recent article in Quodlibet Online Journal, I concurred with R. Sproul's thesis that Jesus was a preterist.
Sproul suggests in his book The Last Days According to Jesus (1998) that, while Jesus believed the parousia of which he spoke in the Olivet Discourse was fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem in the Jewish war of 66-70 A.D., there remains another parousia yet future which is described by Paul.

 Rewrite-Based Inductive Theorem Proving
In order to facilitate the (partial) automation of finding proofs in our framework we place important restrictions on the specification language and the representation of inductive theorems: Neither higher-order variables nor predicate symbols (except for `=') nor explicitly quantified formulas will be admitted; and we also restrict axioms and inductive theorems to (equational) clause form.
Currently, we are extending QuodLibet with a proof guidance component that is intended to (partially) automate the construction of proofs.
This component is based on QML (QuodLibet Meta Language), a language that allows the user to formulate proof tactics relative to the inference machine of QuodLibet.
