Lakenheath was used by the makers of the James Bond film, Tomorrow Never Dies, as a U.S. Air Base in the South China Sea.

RAF Lakenheath, located 20 miles northeast of Cambridge, is two miles from the village of Lakenheath.
Established by the RAF in November 1941 as a satellite base of RAF Mildenhall, it was closed for expansion from May 1944 to April 1947 and then allocated for U.S. use in July 1948.
The 3909th moved to RAF Greenham Common in 1954 and was replaced by the 3910th ABG, redesignated a Combat Support Group (CSG) on January 1, 1959 and inactivated January 1, 1960.

RAF Lakenheath is a USAFE base located only a few minute's drive from RAF Mildenhall, West of the A1065 between Mildenhall and Brandon, around 12 miles North-East of Newmarket in Suffolk.
Lakenheath has eased up somewhat since but the road through the base has been closed permanently as has the Southern end of footpath near the 06 end.
With RAF Mildenhall so close you'll likely be visiting both, but bear in mind the road through the base - part of the shortcut to Mildenhall - is currently closed because of the security situation, as is Mildenhall's viewing area.

RAF LAKENHEATH, England (USAFENS) - Soldiers from the 1-134th Field Artillery, Ohio Army National Guard, arrived recently to begin a nine-month tour at RAF Lakenheath working with the 48th Security Forces Squadron.
About 50 soldiers are here to supplement the 48th SFS and will be working with them in almost everything they do, said the Ohio contingent's commander Army Maj. Craig Baker.
