 Residence Hall Association - Constitution
RHA representatives (in non-Greek housing) shall be elected each fall (by October 1st) by popular vote within their residence hall and shall serve through the end of the spring semester.
RHA representatives must be elected to their individual residence hall council that fall, and will serve as the liaison between their hall council and the RHA.
RHA representatives for the fraternities and sororities shall be chosen by the members of the Council of Fraternal Affairs or Inter-Sorority Council as their organization deems appropriate.

If there are no NRHH members on RHA or the only member of NRHH holding a RHA position is the president or the advisor(s), then the NRHH chapter must nominate another member within their chapter to be the NRHH Representative.
Any RHA member who is also a member of the Conduct Review Board must disqualify himself or herself from hearing or participating in any case previously reviewed by or presented in RHA.
RHA meetings are generally open to all resident students but may be closed at any time by a majority vote of RHA to discuss personnel issues, judicial proceedings, or other sensitive topics.

The PLU RHA is currently working on a proposal for the regional RHA Building Block of the Year Award, which is given to RHA members who have taken great strides in the improvement of their RHA within the past year.

RHA is a tool for students to change their hall and campus environments.
Since RHA is so big, and does so much, it would be impossible for them to do it without the help of other residents, that is why each residence hall on campus has two representatives that attend the weekly meetings, and act as each halls voice to the rest of campus.
They are also responsible for keeping records of the events happening in RHA throughout the year and presenting a scrap book and possibly a video at the end of the year banquet in April.
