  Science Fair Projects - Reichsluftfahrtministerium
The RLM was formed in April 1933 in the center of Berlin, from the Reichskommissariat für die Luftfahrt, which had been established two months earlier with Hermann Göring at its head.
This period is marked by an inability to deliver new aircraft designs that were desperately needed, as well as continued shortages of aircraft and engines.
Aircraft production shot up, and projects that had been hampered for political reasons, like the Heinkel He 219 Uhu were finally able to proceed.

RLM aircraft designation system   (Site not responding. Last check: 2007-10-23)
The RLM aircraft designation system was a an attempt by a aviation bureaucracy of the Third Reich to standardize and produce a identifier each aircraft type produced in Germany.
When the RLM (Reichsluftfahrtministerium "Reich Aviation Ministry") was given control the country's aviation activities in 1933 it set out to catalogue both already in production by various manufacturers as well as new projects approved development by the ministry.
More were created when the RLM allocated "8-" numbers to captured foreign aircraft such as Zlin XII aircraft referred to as "8-12" this same number was already being used the Dornier Do 12.

 Armour of the Air
The CL aircraft were designed to be lighter than the C-class aircraft, and better able to defend themselves against fighters; among their intended roles was also that of escort fighter.
Designed to operate as dive bomber or low-level attack aircraft, the small Hs 132 was intended to be flown from a prone position, to reduce drag and to help the pilot to resist the expected accelerations, up to 12 g in the pull-out from the dive.
This aircraft was never built and its design features remain mysterious, but it was intended to be armed with a 75 mm DRP recoilless cannon, or alternatively with a pair of conventional 37 or 45 mm cannon.

Dornier Do 13 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
It was the designation given to the aircraft resulting from attempts to improve on the Dornier Do 11.
However, only a few were made as the design changes caused grievous problems with many of the first flights ending in crashes.

Luftwaffe Late War Fighter Camouflage - Part Three
Released by Arado and approved by the RLM, designating the ‘green’ 70/71/65 camouflage scheme to be worn by the Arado 234 C four-engine jet bomber-reconnaissance aircraft (Smith and Creek, 1994, pp.247-249).
The RLM, in recognition of the deteriorating economic conditions, demanded that all older paints be used up prior to drawing upon stocks of newer colours, whenever they would become available, and provided suggestions on the use of substitute colours with and in place of the newer colours.
Aircraft wearing combinations of old and new camouflage colours are known through photographic evidence and by November 1944 the newer RLM colours 81 and 82 were becoming available to factories and started to appear on fighter aircraft.

Aerospaceweb.org | Ask Us - German & Japanese Aircraft Designation Systems
Among these are the US systems for aircraft and missiles as well as the codenames given to Soviet aircraft.
This method consisted of a letter to indicate the aircraft's function, a sequential number to indicate a specific aircraft type (but unlike the USN system, the number 1 was retained), and a letter to indicate the manufacturing company.
Because the correct designations of Japanese aircraft were often not known to the Allies, simple codenames were assigned to them instead.

 Focke-Wulf Ta152H
Except for designation, the Ta 152 series is directly related to, and a natural development of, the Fw 190.
Later, the RLM identified an offshoot concept known as the Extremer Höhenjäger, or extreme high-altitude fighter.
Each aircraft was built by the same manufacturer, but at different stages of the war and for different missions.

The RLM (Reichs Luftfahrt Ministerium, German Air Ministry) and the Wehrmacht changed the abreviation from 'Bf' to 'Me'.

RLM management was dominated by active-refrigeration adherents, who did not share his vision of the new project.
Certainly, examples of successful aircraft in similar foreign designs existed and the passive refrigeration's disabilities could be minimized by proper installation in the airframe.

The full designation consists of the name, a letter or set of letters indicating the role, and a mark number; in a few cases the mark number is followed by a letter indicating a modification.
The full designation is written as, for example, "Tornado GR.1A", or sometimes "Tornado GR Mk 1A" (the Tornado GR.1 is the ground attack/reconnaissance version of the Tornado; the GR.1A is a variant in which one of the two guns is replaced by reconnaissance gear).
A designation consists of the letter "C" (for Canadian), a letter to indicate the aircraft's role, a dash, and a number, sometimes followed by a letter to indicate a modification; usually "A" for a modified version, or "D" for a dual-control trainer.

 German Military Aircraft Designations (1933-1945)
In official RLM paperwork, aircraft model numbers were mostly prefixed by the number 8 and a dash (similarly, piston engines used designations with a "9-" prefix, while jet engines were prefixed with "109-").
Designations are written without a dash between the manufacturer's code and the RLM number, because that's the most common practice.
The designation Ju 187 was assigned by Junkers, and not by the RLM.

The instructions include a three-view general arrangement (GA) drawing of the aircraft, but it is not to any particular scale.
My biggest gripe about this type of kit is when the GA drawings aren't in scale, it's can be difficult to accomplish some necessary tasks - such as measuring struts and setting their angles.
The only photo of the aircraft I have shows the aircraft in a light color, possibly silver or gray, but it is sitting in front of a hanger and could have been taken at the factory prior to paint being applied.

Solid-fuel rockets, however, have major disadvantages when used for aircraft propulsion, as their thrust cannot be regulated, and the engines cannot be shut down once fired.
This was never constructed, but because it bore the same designation as the aircraft that was actually flown, many books and websites mistakenly publish pictures of it to illustrate its earlier namesake.
The design of things is such that you could probably prepaint most of the airframe parts prior to assembly.

The Messerschmitt Me-262 Schwalbe / Sturmvogel
The preliminary designs for "Project 1065", as it was designated, went through a iteration or two and finally resulted in a proposal submitted to the RLM in May 1940.
In modern aircraft, this is done by a high-torque electric motor or an equivalent, while in many earlier jet aircraft it was done using an explosive cartridge that kicked the turbine into motion.
Preliminary design of the He-280 apparently began in the summer of 1939, while the He-178 was going into flight tests, but in any case work started in earnest on the Heinkel fighter in the fall of the 1939.
