We were aware that the university was promoting 'internationalisation', and we saw the project as an opportunity to meet with staff in other faculties and hear about their ideas, and plans.
For the university: We are producing well rounded flexible and socially aware graduates who are comfortable working in diverse groups and have a good understanding and acceptance of other national cultures.
RMIT Business is fortunate to have a cross-cultural consultant on staff so that any cultural implications of the project could be discussed in-house allowing more time to be spent on the CSDF curricula issues.
