RMS Segwun is a small steamship, built in 1907, to cruise the Muskoka Lakes, in the county of Muskoka, Ontario Canada.
The Segwun, and the fleets former flagship, the RMS Sagamo, the last two remaining vessels in service, were retired in 1958, and spent decades moored at a dock in Gravenhurst.
The Segwun is notable for being the oldest working vessel in North America to continue to use its original steam engine.

Segwun's keel was originally laid down in 1887 in Scotland and she joined the fleet of the Muskoka Hotel and Navigation Company plying the waters of Lakes Muskoka, Rosseau and Joseph.
The Segwun was steaming very quietly at her berth receiving passengers when these pics were shot.
It was built during 2002 - while not a copy of the RMS Cherokee, it was built in her spirit and bears a remarkable resemblance.

R.M.S. The largest passenger ship on any minor inland waterway in Ontario (except the Ottawa River), the majestic palace steamer Sagamo ("big chief") was the pride of the Muskoka Lakes for half a century.
R.M.S. Today the sole surviving steamship of her type still in service in all of Canada, the Royal Mail Steamer Segwun ("springtime") is a hybrid ship, rebuilt in 1924-25 from the old steamer Nipissing II.
As the Segwun, the vessel made her first trip to Bracebridge on July 9, 1925, and often conducted the 100 Mile Cruise from that port, meeting the Sagamo at Beaumaris or in mid-lake.

The R.M.S. Segwun was scheduled for her first sail of the season 6days from when this picture was taken.

I have placed invisible track between Teignmouth pier, Dawlish, Starcross, Topsham and Exmouth and have used Tugboat, Tugboat Marion, RMS Segwun and MS Palucca as driveable boats.
Passenger active station track has also been placed at Starcross jetty/pier, Exmouth steps, Dawlish jetty and Teignmouth pier for use by the RMS Segwun and MS Palucca.
The Tugs can also use the brms tracks as they are the same width as RMS Segwun.

At the turn of the century the Muskoka Lakes had the largest in-land fleet of steamships in Canada; and today, the RMS Segwun remains the oldest coal-fired steamship operating in all of North America.
Steamships were not only used as cruise vessels for the tourist trade but served as supply ships or floating stores, landing at island destinations throughout the summer months.
