RSPB Bempton Cliffs is a nature reserve, run by the RSPB, at Bempton in Yorkshire, England.
The hard chalk cliffs at Bempton rise are relatively resistant to erosion and offer lots of sheltered headlands and crevices for nesting birds.
The cliffs run about 10 km from Flamborough Head north towards Filey and are over 100 m high at points.

The body of an adult female Peregrine Falcon was found dead in a field near to the Bempton Cliffs nature reserve in East Yorkshire by a farmer last weekend.
RSPB Bempton Cliffs warden Trevor Charlton said: "We were hopeful that peregrine falcons might once again colonise the cliffs at our Bempton reserve, giving pleasure to thousands of visitors, and the death of a female bird is a real set-back.
An RSPB spokesperson said peregrines continue to suffer regular illegal human persecution and a person convicted of killing a peregrine falcon could be jailed for up to six months and/or receive a fine of up to £5,000.

This year looks set to be the worst on record for Kittiwakes nesting at the Bempton Cliffs nature reserve on the Yorkshire coast, the RSPB confirmed today (Friday 30 July 2004).
The Kittiwakes that nest at the internationally important Bempton Cliffs colony feed mainly on sandeels, a small silvery shoaling fish.
The news from Bempton Cliffs is particularly alarming because, like the canary in the coal mine, the fortunes of the Kittiwakes are regarded as an effective measure of the health of the marine environment.

Lucky for me he wasn't a long way of on the cliff but on the grass not far from the safety fence leading to this nice photo.
They sat on the cliff ledge constantly rubbing beaks or ruffling each others white chest feathers seemingly oblivious to everything that was going on around them.
