		On May 7, 2005 Klaatu's original three members appeared at the KAAS fan gathering called Klaatu*Kon 2005: World Contact Day and performed six songs with the assistance of backing vocalist Maureen Leeson to celebrate the release of the 2CD anthology "Sun Set: 1973-1981".
		The band also released a vinyl version of the set with alternate mixes called "Raarities".
		With notes from Terry Draper, Dee Long, John Woloschuk, Frank Watt, Frank Davies, Rupert Perry, John Jones, David Bradley and Mark Hershberger (and a nudge from Alex Ferraro).

		A never-before-heard song, "There's Something Happening," sports a decidedly Teenage Fanclub vibe (many years, of course, before that group would make its debut); this song would have fit nice and snug on MagentaLane.
		Apparently, it's not the only unreleased Klaatu song that exists; a demo of a tune called "Come One, Come All" appears on the vinyl-only Raarities collection, none of the contents of which appear on Sun Set (calling collectors of interplanetary unreleased songs!).
		An orchestral version of the Hope album, presented in its entirety, closes out Sun Set's first disc.
