 | | The purpose of the radio reading service is to provide access to newspapers and magazines through closed circuit radio receivers to citizens of North Dakota with print impairments. |
 | | After receiving grants from the National Telecommunication and Information Administration in 1985, 1986, 1988, 1993 and 1996, DRIS was able to increase its broadcast areas to include areas surrounding Minot, Williston, Dickinson, Jamestown and the six translator areas of Tioga, Harvey, Bowman, Hettinger, Crosby and Beach. |
