Raber, the only person injured in the crash, was rushed to Woodlawn Hospital in an unconscious condition where he was found to be suffering with severe scalp wounds.
Raber was born in Fulton county and was the son of Frank and Rebecca RABER.
Raber's father it will be remembered died in Woodlawn Hospital here on January 16, from injuries which he received when he was struck by an automobile while he was walking on the cement road leading from F.R. 31 to Macy.

Since the Berrien County Raber family was in Michigan by 1845-50, I did not include the 1850 Ohio Census in this writing.
John Raber died in Berrien County on November 4th 1866 at 54 years of age and he is buried in the Hinman Cemetery in Lake Township near Baroda.
It appears this John Raber was one in the same as the Henry Raver who married Margaret Kreutzer.

Hannah Campbell, John's wife, was a native of Applegate, Michigan, and came by sailboat from Harbor Beach to Point Aux Frenes and from there to Kirkbrides south of Raber.
In 1881 they came from Beevin to Raber, Michigan, by sailboat, and from there made their way to Stalwart and settled on what is known as the Sand Ridge, clearing land to make a home.
They lived in Raber where she kept a boarding house, later to a hotel in Pickford, to a farm east of Pickford, and their last home was in Detroit.
