The sad thing is, they remained labeled to a certain extent even though every true metal aficionado knows that there was so much more to their repertoire than ballads that simultaneously made the girls moist and the boys teary-eyed and sentimental.
Although subsequent albums like Slave to the Grind were respectable, Sebastian, Rachel, Snake and company were never quite able to build upon and sustain the momentum that they had started with that first disc.
Funnily enough it was only bolan, snake and hill that did that (read into that what you will), Jonny and Phil remained inside but we still didn't get chance to meet them.
