Raffles was two for two with an RBI and Ruckstaetter, playing in his last game for the Panthers, was one for four scoring once and knocking in two more.
Clough tripled in the third and scored twice, junior Josh Reesman singled in the seventh, senior Ian Wightman tripled in the fourth and scored, freshman John Raffles singled in the eighth and scored two runs, junior Nick Brock doubled in the fourth and scored twice, and junior CJ Wilsnack doubled in the eighth and scored.
Raffles was also one for three at the plate, driving in a run, and sacrificing freshmen Eli Morris to third base, setting up the game winning RBI.

Raffles Junior College was established to provide pre-university classes which were then discontinued in Raffles Institution (RI), in keeping with national trends.
The College Anthem of RJC is the same as the Institution Anthem of Raffles Institution.
The college uniform for RJC boys is largely similar to that for RI boys, with the main differences lying in the pleat at the back of the shirt, upturned sleeves which are sewn down, pleats in the long pants and the material of the shirt and long pants.

In the 1880s, a bronze statue of Raffles was placed at the centre of the Padang, the shared playground of the Singapore Cricket Club and the Singapore Recreation Club.
According to his Obituary, Raffles intended the Institution "to consist of a college, with library and museum, for the study of Anglo-Chinese literature, and of branch schools in the Chinese and Malayan languages" (17).
The schools came first, followed by the library and museum, but his vision of a College of the Arts and Sciences was only realised in 1928-29, when the Raffles College was established.
