	Ragnaros - WoWWiki, the Warcraft wiki
		Ragnaros has uncovered the secret to creating life from stone and plans to build an army of unstoppable golems to aid him in conquering the whole of Blackrock Mountain.
		Ragnaros' name is from Ragnarök(Ragnarok), the end of the world in Norse mythology, but he seems to be based on the leader of the Fire giants, Surt.
		This means that melee should be around Ragnaros generally on the south, west and north parts of the inner ring, and the ranged is on the south and west portions of the outer ring.

		Yet ever picture etc I hear about Ragnaros is the closest he has gotten was 70% (A La Ruined of Proudemoore)...well other guilds could have gotten em down but from what im hearing, 70% is the lowest.
		When a guild gets ragnaros to the 20-30% or so stage, then a guild can claim he is doable.
		I would laugh if that was the case, only to have some guild who got Ragnaros to 9% and wipe post on the forums in full heat.

		I also would like to point out that there isn’t a single guide in the world that will help you kill this god easily, it requires a lot of attempts, dedication and teamwork, so do not be discouraged if you wipe 10-20 times, keep at it learn from your mistakes and perfect them.
		When a Wrath of Ragnaros occurs (knockback of 3 people in melee range, notice that this may also hit your main tanks) tank 3 steps in, does a taunt and sunders a few times till the knocked tanks are back in position.

		keep in mind, that Ragnaros emerges again, after either all sons are dead/banished or after 90 seconds toying around with the sons (whatever happens first).
		We also did sons slightly different, with a majority of ranged dps off to the left so the sons run by, and the tanks and such where they all meet.
		Ragnaros will spawn the second all the sons are dead, so it helps to keep one son at very low health chain banished until Ragnaros emerges on his own, to give the raid time to regenerate.

		Ragnaros despawns 2 hours after you talk to Domo and spawn him.
		Every time a melee player hits Ragnaros, their weapon is damaged.
		They are nicely spread out, in range of their healers, and doing excellent DPS without pulling agro from the MT, all within a few seconds.

		Internal testing has done it, so says Tigole, which leads me to beleive it is possible, maybe not right now with how the guilds are geared up.
		One attempt per week really throws a wrench in things and makes it more difficult to learn the encounter and refine your strategy.
		It's highly unlikely they have them on internal builds, let alone are using them to "test" encounters.

		I will be asking people to equip their FR gear at kargath and if yours is dangerously low for certain classes I will likely be replacing you in the raid.
		If you are curious about how to up your fire resistance you should check your your class forum on the worldofwarcraft.com forum website as almost every class I believe has a sticky on it telling you exactly where and how to obtain the FR you need.
		Once we are able to gear ourselves more and kill Ragnaros one of the most important steps in our progression will be to set up multiple raid teams.

		Our first attempt went very well, bringing Ragnaros down to about 24%, at that time the best that the DA had gotten.
		Our second attempt went better, bringing Ragnaros down to 19% before we were all dead.
		Our final attempt, we tried an alternate strategy with the sons, we got Rag down to around 53% and the sons spawned...and we were able to kill all of them!...however, Ragnaros came back up after only 30seconds, and before the last Son was dead, and he wiped us one more time.

		This is true, we normally stick a Pally with the Rogues for the fire aura.
		Yeah, you can get a shaman and his fire resist totem close enough for the rogues, without being on the "hook" where he'll be in range of knockback.

		This is the perfect opportunity to give thanks to those that have endured the relentless hours of playing and the almost impossible task of attempting Ragnaros.
