		The Rainbow Coalition (Melvin King) was a social, racial and economic justice organization formed by in 1983 by Boston-area politician Melvin King.

	Coalition wrangling finally draws to an end

		The Rainbow Center's mission was to create a community center to provide a physical location for the many events and groups that in turn serve the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered and allied communities.
