Rajah Sulayman, also spelled as, Rajah Suliman or Rajah Soliman was the last Filipino-Muslim ruler of Manila known then as "Maynilad" during the Spanish colonization of Philippines during the late 1500s.
In 1571, he and two other Rajah's: Matanda and Lakandula accepts a peace pact by Miguel Lòpez de Legaspi which both groups agreed.
A Raja (sometimes spelled Rajah) is a king, or princely ruler.

 Rajah Sulayman - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Rajah Sulayman was a native muslim ruler who ruled with Rajah Matanda a large population of muslim Tagalog people in the southern part of the Pasig River, Maynilad (present day Manila).
Sulayman and Lakandula escaped death, but both were captured and held as a prisoners by Martin de Goiti.
His surviving troops along with Rajah Lakandula's men, retreated to the jungles of Maynilad and later organized a rebellion were they laid numerous seiges on the Spanish settlement of Maynilad for several months.

There he fought a number of battles against Rajah Suliman's tribes and the native population of Manila, for control of lands.
Goiti and his soldiers crushed and killed most of Suliman, Lankandula and Matanda's warriors at Tondo on May 24, with a force of 300 soldiers and taking the rulers as prisoners and executing those who refused to accept Spanish rule.
Goiti and Salcedo then took possession of the city on June 6, 1570 and burned it to the ground, killing most of the natives.
