		You can lay down an imperviouse plasic sheet (used in areas that are not going to be walked on very often), onto which you would then lay the gravel, or alternatively you can dig out the area to be paved down to a depth of about 5 inches.
		Carefully put the flagg down onto these then tap it down to the required level (this is easily marked out by a line going from one corner to the other, tied at the hieght you are wanting the surface to finish at).
		To lay the tarmac down rake it level with a rake that has been dipped in diesel first to prevent the tarmac sticking, then roll the tarmac with a roller that has water coming down over the roller to prevent the tarmac from sticking.
