Ramesh Sippy to return to directing after 10-year break
Sippy, known for directing blockbuster movies of the 1970-1980s such as "Sholay" or "Embers," told the Mumbai Mirror newspaper that he was bored of producing and planned to direct a movie starring popular actors Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini.
Sippy said he hoped to begin shooting by the end of the year, adding that his movie may be a romantic flick and not an action film.

And Sippy disagrees that because of his "class", he is ill-suited to the rigours and low budgets of television.
For Sippy a real hit, regardless of whether it s a movie or a serial, is something that cuts across all classes and appeals to everyone.
