Randall Cunningham (born March 27, 1963 in Santa Barbara, California) is a former American football player, at the position of quarterback.
Cunningham was voted to his fourth Pro Bowl, and Minnesota dominated the league, before falling to the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship game.
Cunningham's older brother, Sam Cunningham, was a long-time Pro Bowl running back for the New England Patriots and a part of a USC Trojan team that steamrolled the Alabama Crimson Tide 42-21 on September 12, 1970, helping to integrate Southern college football.

Sam Cunningham (born August 15, 1950, in Santa Barbara, CA) is a former USC All-American fullback in 1972 who convinced (through his play) Bear Bryant to integrate Southern football after USC soundly beat University of Alabama 42-21 at Birmingham on September 12, 1970 in a primetime matchup.
Bear Bryant allegedly brought Cunningham into the all-white Alabama locker room after the game and said "This is what a football player looks like." While Cunningham's performance in the game was unquestionably dominant, the locker room story is not true.
Sam Cunningham should also be noted for his contribution to racial integration.

Randall was the Vick of the mid to late 80's/Early 90's.
If Green Bay or San Francisco would have made it to the NFC title game in 98 instead of us, Randall, Moss and Carter would have beaten the Broncos in the Super Bowl 52-13 and no one would be saying Randall doesn't have a ring.
