		His style, composure and ability was such that, with only 2 Ozzy albums to his name and a collection of other lesser-known stuff, he is STILL higher then many great long-living guitar gods on this very list.

		I seen Randy Rhoads with Quiet Riot in 1976 and with OZZY in 1982.What you hear on Diary and the Blizzard albums are Max Norman not capturing his tone on record.His tone when he played live, was so huge but never caught in the studio.
		Exactly, I lot of guys would argue that most of the best toned committed were onto tape recording consoles using tube compressors etc. etc.
		Max Norman butchered his guitar tone to Max's liking, randy didnt even like his tone on the albums he said.
